北京交通大學固體力學專業博士,清華大學博士后,近年來主要從事新型有限元法─基面力元法(Base Force Element Method,BFEM)的理論體系及應用研究,主持及參與國家自然科學基金面上項目、國家自然科學基金重大研究計劃項目、三峽工程樞紐科研項目等科研課題,在《International Journal of Non-Linear Mechanics》、《Finite Elements in Analysis and Design》、《Engineering Analysis with Boundary Elements》等國際和國內學術期刊上發表學術論文50余篇,參編專著4部,獲計算機軟件著作權20多項,歷任中國巖石力學與工程學會巖體物理數學模擬委員會委員,中國水利學會水工結構專業委員會、中國水力發電工程學會水工及水電站建筑物專業委員會巖石、混凝土斷裂分委員會委員,北京力學會教育工作委員會委員,水工教研室主任,土木工程系副主任,教學部主任,工程力學教研室主任,為《International Journal for Numerical Methods in Engineering》、《Computer Modelingin Engineering & Sciences》、《Finite Elements in Analysis and Design》等國際和國內學術期刊審稿人,是北京市市屬高校中青年骨干教師、北京工業大學優秀教學質量一等獎獲得者、北京工業大學教學名師。
