主持國家自然科學基金面上項目、國家自然科學基金青年科學基金、中國博士后科學基金(一等)、中國礦業大學重大項目培育專項基金等多項科研課題,作為學術骨干承擔國家973計劃項目和國家重點研發計劃項目各1項;在International Journal of Rock Mechanics & Mining Sciences、Rock Mechanics & Rock Engineering、Geofluids、巖石力學與工程學報、土木工程學報和中國公路學報等期刊上發表學術論文50余篇,其中第一/通訊作者SCI檢索論文8篇,EI檢索論文13篇;授權發明專利9項,實用新型專利7項,申請公開發明專利14項;在科學出版社出版學術專著1部;獲得中國煤炭工業科學技術二等獎和中國公路學會科學技術獎二等獎各1項;講授巖石力學等專業主干課程,發表教改論文4篇,主持校級教改項目1項,指導國家級、省級大學生創新項目多項。兼任國際巖石力學學會會員、中國巖石力學與工程學會地下工程分會理事,江蘇省巖土力學與工程學會理事;International Journal of Rock Mechanics and Mining Sciences、Arabian Journal of Geosciences、巖石力學與工程學報、重慶大學學報等雜志審稿專家;國家自然科學基金工材學部函評專家。
