　　《高校外語(yǔ)教師概述策略教學(xué)元認(rèn)知知識(shí)研究》梳理和總結(jié)了以高校外語(yǔ)教師用論說(shuō)文教授概述策略時(shí)應(yīng)具備的元認(rèn)知知識(shí)為研究?jī)?nèi)容的學(xué)術(shù)專(zhuān)著建構(gòu)與驗(yàn)證過(guò)程。整個(gè)研究過(guò)程應(yīng)用了Carifio-Perla（2011）的教育材料發(fā)展理論，體現(xiàn)了哈佛商學(xué)院案例研究模式。書(shū)中還進(jìn)一步討論了第一作者如何將專(zhuān)著中所涉及的研究?jī)?nèi)容上升到元認(rèn)知層面加以理解、深化和反思的過(guò)程。
　　要培養(yǎng)大學(xué)生英語(yǔ)閱讀方面的元認(rèn)知意識(shí)，使其成為具備元認(rèn)知能力的讀者，高校英語(yǔ)教師應(yīng)該具備相應(yīng)的元認(rèn)知知識(shí)，并基于元認(rèn)知模式或／和閱讀理解理論做教學(xué)決策、開(kāi)展課堂教學(xué)實(shí)踐。《高校外語(yǔ)教師概述策略教學(xué)元認(rèn)知知識(shí)研究》可作為培訓(xùn)教師建構(gòu)元認(rèn)知知識(shí)框架的學(xué)術(shù)性參考資料，且書(shū)中的研究模式亦可在教育博士論文寫(xiě)作和教材編寫(xiě)方面得到應(yīng)用和推廣。
